Big Bang’s TOP recently angered some of IU’s uncle fans!
During an episode of “YG On Air”, which aired on May 6th, fans were able to find out how Big Bang is doing lately. Fans were able to see Big Bang preparing for their Japan Tour Concert, see their trainee training methods through Seungri, and also see their usual carefree and mischievous acts.
Also, during the broadcast, TOP looked at each of the member’s posters. After seeing Daesung’s poster, TOP asked G-Dragon, “Didn’t Daesung’s picture come out a bit like IU?”, stating that Daesung and IU look alike.
After hearing this netizens commented, “IU’s uncle fans are mad now” “I think I can see the resemblance” “I don’t know why, but it is funny”

About a year ago, Rania member Joy took part in a Thai CF for “Eversense” with the members of Big Bang. In the CF, she was surrounded by the five men and received their full attention and affection.
Joy herself received a lot of headlines prior to her debut for being a ‘Big Bang Girl’ since she was one of the top 10 finalists. Unfortunately, she hasn’t had a chance to meet them again since debuting last month.
She expressed, “The Big Bang seniors are so busy so there isn’t much of an opportunity for me to see them. I felt regretful that we haven’t been able to talk.”
Joy recalled some of the positive moments while filming by explaining, “Daesung was like a big brother, kind to everybody. Taeyang taught me some quick moves, thanks for that. I was worried what the fans would think of the CF at first, but they were all very kind to me.”.

Character-Idol Look-A-Likes More Similar Than ‘Pororo-Yoo Jae Suk’?
A collection of pictures comparing idol stars to cartoon characters is becoming a hot topic amongst netizens.
A netizen posted pictures of idol stars and the cartoon characters they resemble under the title ‘Character-Idol look-a-likes, 100% Resemblance Challenge’.
Including many of the nation’s currently popular idol stars, the post compared Big Bang’s Daesung to Ugly Doll, Taeyang to Mashimaro, 2PM’s Jang Woo Young to the KeyBot robot, Junsu to a palace guard in ‘The Prince of Egypt’, Chansung to The Simpson’s Mr. Burns, 2NE1′s Gong Minzy to Strawberry Doll, B2ST’s Yang Yoseop to the goblin ‘DdookDdaki’, SHINee’s Minho to Vulpix, Onew to Chicken Little, Girls’ Generation’s Jessica to Cappy and TVXQ’s Changmin to Spongebob’s Squidward.
Netizens who saw this post left comments such as, ‘Woo Young really looks like a monkey’, ‘I burst out laughing when I saw the Jessica-Cappy comparison’, and ‘They all resemble the characters 100%!’.

388 celebrities and entertainment representatives recently voted on Korea’s best singers conducted by Korean news portal Enews24.
After everything was tallied, 1st place went to Cho Yong Pil who obtained 58 votes (15.2%). As someone in his 60’s, his performances are just as passionate as when he was in his prime. He continues to greet his fans through a variety of methods, from movies to moving stages. Recently, he has appeared on a broadcasts giving his fans a glimpse of hope of a possible comeback.
2nd place went to YG Entertainment’s Big Bang with 29 votes (7.4%). Though their is a 30 vote gap between 1st and 2nd place, it seems that Big Bang has been chosen as the top artist of the current music industry. They have been the ‘hot icon’ of the music industry for the past several years. As soon as they release new music, they sweep music charts across the board and their fashion is also a continuing topic of conversation.
3rd place went to Lee Seung Chul. Not only is he a representative Korean artist, he is also a judge on ‘Superstar K‘. He has fans of all ages and genders. From broadcasts to internet concerts, he is an hardworking representative artist.
4th place surprisingly went to Kim Bum Soo with 22 votes (5.6%). He is currently confirming his status as an outstanding vocalist by his appearance on MBC’s “I Am a Singer“.
5th place went to the current issue-maker Seo Taiji with 21 votes (5.4%); one vote shy of Kim Bum Soo. Seo Taiji has kept much of his personal life private and hasn’t had much regular activities, yet he managed to get a decent amount of votes. This survey was taken prior to the revealing of his former relationship with actress Lee Ji Ah. The results of this survey may have differed if completed after the incident.
6th and 7th place were claimed by SM Entertainment artists. SNSD had 17 votes (4.3%) while TVXQ had 12 votes (3.0%). There was a tie for 8th place as it went to both Kim Gun Mo and Rain, each with 11 votes (2.8%) respectively. 9th place went to Lee Moon Sae, Yoon Do Hyun, Lee So Ra, and 4minute, each with 8 votes (2%).
The rest of the results include Baek Ji Young, Shin Seung Hoon, Na Ul, and Insooni each obtained 7th votes. Park Jung Hyun (Lena Park), Seo In Young, Lee Eun Mi, and Lee Hyori each had 6 votes. Lastly, Park Hyo Shin, Boohwal, Brown Eyed Soul, and Lim Jae Bum each took in 4 votes.
